The Windsor Fire Department has established a system of recruitment for volunteer firefighters that assures the quality of candidates to meet the needs of fire department operations.
We recruit prospective candidates for the position of firefighter on an ongoing basis, applications are read to the membership of the department on the 1st Wednesday of each month, then forwarded to the Windsor Fire Department Human Resourses Divison for processing.
